This site is placed in the Elisabetin neighborhood, on Virgil Onițiu Street, near Carmen Sylva park. The continuous fronts of the houses built at the beginning of the 20th century are sometimes interrupted by free spaces or interventions made in the 70’s and 80’s. Context integration requirements have resulted into the creation of a house placed in two contrasting registries: the first one belongs to the street, with aligned volumes that are sized to the scale of the neighboring houses generating the continuous front, and providing facades with a material-like feeling given by the vibrant texture of brick; the second registry is represented by a white, detached volume which belongs to the roof level.
